This notice covers the Pit Rot newsletter: the email signup on this site. It is the only personal data we collect here. There are no accounts, no logins, and no game services running on this site.
What we collect
- The email address you submit.
- Basic technical context sent with the request, kept to prevent abuse and duplicate signups: the approximate time, the page you signed up from, your IP address, and your browser's user-agent string.
Why we collect it
Only to email you about Pit Rot: playtests, milestones, and release. Nothing else. We do not sell or share your address, and we do not use it for advertising.
Double opt-in
When you sign up we send a confirmation email. Your address is not added to the list until you click the link in that email. Every email we send includes a one-click unsubscribe link, and you can leave at any time.
Who processes your data
- Amazon Web Services (AWS): hosts this site (region: US). AWS acts as our processor.
- Resend: our email provider, used to send the confirmation email and future newsletters. See Resend's privacy policy for how they handle delivery data.
How long we keep it
We keep your address until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it. Unconfirmed signups are removed periodically.
Your choices
